Sae Aero Design Rules 2022

SAE Aero Design includes two regional competitions that challenge participating teams to conceive design fabricate and test a radio controlled aircraft that can take off land and optimally meet the mission requirements. For the 2022 competition season Advanced Class will see rules revisions. The competition has been designed to provide exposure to the kinds of situations that engineers face in their real-life work environment. 2 concerning the meaning or intent of these rules will be resolved by the officials SAE International Rules Committee or SAE International Staff.

Sae Aero Design Rules 2022. The 2022 SAE Aero Design Rules are now available for student teams to review and prepare for the upcoming 2022 Collegiate Design Series competition season. Rules can be found under Series Resources within the 2022 Ruleset and Rules Resources folder. Official announcements from the SAE Aero Design Rules Committee SAE International or the other SAE International Organizers shall be considered part of and have the same validity as these rules.
